Multifunctional Components for Agressive Enviroments In Space Applications
Project summary
SMARTEES is targeted at obtaining a novel “proof-of reusability” thermal protection system (TPS) concept with multifunctional properties. i.e. insulation and oxidation resistance. The TPS architecture will combine the use of advanced ceramic composites and porous structures.
