Sofia Pantousa, postdoctoral researcher at the Fusion Technology Group of NCSR "DEMOKRITOS", has been awarded the 2027 EUROfusion “Bernard Bigot” Researcher Grant (ERG) for her proposal entitled:
“Controlling irradiation-induced Cr agglomeration in FeCr-based alloys by microstructural modification”.
Sofia is among the nine researchers selected for this prestigious grant from leading research institutions across Europe.
The Bernard Bigot Researcher Grants recognise scientific excellence, innovation and diversity, while supporting the next generation of fusion researchers in advancing the science and technology needed to realise fusion energy.
